This rune is associated with "harvesting your fruits of labor" on a different level. In other words if you done everything right in your career (planted the seeds) then you may now expect a promotion (harvesting).

You raised your child in the best possible way you could (planting seed), you may now be blessed with a young responsible, law-abiding, goal oriented young man or lady (harvesting).

Odin, who is the equivalent to Mercury in the Norse/Germanic tribes,

was the god of the dead, the overlord of Valhalla where the noblest and strongest warriors went after death.

Valhalla means the "Hall of the Chosen", and like the Christian concept of heaven,

the idea behind it is one of recompense or reward. The Rune JARA refers to this aspect of Odin's power and is, therefore, concerned with rewarding the subject for his previous actions.

Because Odin only chose the noblest of warriors to go to Valhalla, JARA is also associated with justice, and by analogy, all legal matters.
